Indexing

Plans Pro, Agency

The Indexing tab shows whether Google has your pinned pages in its index. Once a day we ask Google’s URL Inspection about each pinned page and keep every change.

How to use it

  1. Pin pages in the Pages table, or use Pin N pages on the Indexing tab to pin your top pages by clicks.
  2. Open Indexing. Each row shows the status (Indexed, Not indexed, Excluded), Google’s reason, the last crawl, and whether Google picked the canonical URL you declared.
  3. Filter to Not indexed, Canonical mismatch or Crawled in the last 7 days.
  4. Open a page to see its index history under Index status.

Chart notes. When a pinned page’s index status changes, Google re-crawls it, or Google chooses a different canonical, an Automatic note appears on that page’s chart and in its notes list. Dismiss any you don’t need; a dismissed note does not come back.

Weekly digest. Pages that dropped out of the index or got a different canonical that week are listed in the digest.

Plans: Pro watches 50 pages per site, Agency 2,000 per site (Google’s daily limit). Free can pin pages but they are not checked. If you pin more pages than your plan watches, the oldest pins are watched.
