Annotations
Plans Pro
An annotation is a dated note: “Launched new tent category”, “Site migration”, “Radio spot ran”. Each one shows as a small diamond under the chart on the day it happened, so you can see what a jump or a drop lines up with.
Add one. On a site’s Overview, open Annotations below the tables and choose Add annotation. Pick the date (and an optional last day for something that ran for a while), a title, and an optional note. Applies to sets what the note is about: the whole site, one page (a URL, or the start of one such as /tents/) or one query. A page must be one we have data for.
Where they show. Whole-site notes show on every chart. Page notes show on the detail view of that page (and any page under the URL you gave), query notes on that query’s detail view. Page and query detail have their own Notes on this page / query panel for adding more.
On the chart. Hover a diamond, or Tab to it with the keyboard, to read the title. Escape closes the tip.
Edit, delete, undo. Each note has Edit and Delete. After any change a line appears with Undo; changes can be undone for 30 days (while nothing newer has touched the same note).
Who can. Owners, admins and members add and change notes; people with view-only access can read them. Notes belong to your workspace: another workspace looking at the same site does not see them. Up to 1,000 per site.
Plans. Pro and Agency. On Free the panel shows a short note about Pro and the chart has no markers.
