Suggested filters
Plans Pro
Suggested filters are shortcuts at the top of the filter builder. Click Filter, click a chip and the builder fills in the dimension, the way to match and the value. Read it, change it if you like, and press Apply filter: a chip never applies on its own.
| Chip | Finds queries that… |
|---|---|
| Long-tail (5+ words) | have five or more words |
| Likely AI Mode (10+ words) | have ten or more words |
| Questions | start with who, what, when, where, why, how, which, can, do, does, is, are or should |
| Comparisons | contain the word vs, versus, alternative, alternatives or compared |
| Buying intent | contain the word best, top, review, reviews, price, cheap, buy, deal, deals, sale, clearance or coupon |
| Local | contain the phrase near me, nearby or hours |
Words match whole words, so “vs” does not match inside another word. Likely AI Mode is an estimate: Search Console does not label AI Mode or AI Overviews searches, and very long, conversational searches are the best clue. Hover the i for the note.
Choose Page as the dimension and the chips become your biggest folders, for example /blog/*. Each means “pages that start with this folder”; they are the six folders with the most clicks among your top 500 pages. For non-branded searches use the Branded / Non-branded switch.
The number on a chip is how many of your top 500 queries match, so you can tell a rule is worth using before you apply it.
