What's new in KeptSEO: October 2026

October 11, 2026

We shipped a lot in the first two weeks of October. Here is everything that is new, grouped by what it helps you do. Features marked Pro need the Pro plan; client portals are part of Agency.

New data source: Bing Webmaster Tools

Connect Bing Webmaster Tools in Settings, Connections and your Bing sites get the same dashboard as your Google sites, with a Bing badge. You get daily clicks and impressions, plus queries and pages by week. Bing shares less than Google: there is no country or device split and no site-wide average position. We keep everything Bing still returns when you connect, and every day after that. Bing is on every plan, at no extra charge.

For agencies: client portals

A client portal is a read-only link to one site that you send a client. It carries your agency's name, logo and color, shows only the sections you pick (Overview, Queries, Pages, Countries), and can email the client the link every Monday. Add short notes the client sees on the report. Revoke a link and it stops working at once. Client portals are part of Agency. Read more about client portals.

Site migration tracking (Pro)

Moving to a new domain, or changing your URL structure? The new Migrations tab tells you how much of your traffic came back, and which pages were left behind. Give it the move date and how old URLs map to new ones: a domain change, URL rules, or a pasted redirect list of up to 5,000 rows. You see recovery against a baseline, orphaned old pages, how each query's position held up, and new URLs Google has not indexed. It works for moves in the past too, because we already store the history.

One place for every filter

Every way to narrow a report now lives in one toolbar: the date button (range, comparison and search type), + Filter, saved views and Share. + Filter lists query, page, country, device, brand, content group, topic cluster, pinned items and search type, plus suggested and saved filters. Applied filters show as chips. Chart choices (day, week or month, the 7-day average, Mark windows) moved to View options at the right of the toolbar, and both stay on screen as side panels while you scroll. Links you shared before still open with the same filters.

On a phone, a small bar stays at the top with the date and your filters, each opening a full-height sheet. Tables turn into two-line rows with a Sort menu, so nothing gets cut off.

Opportunities and tasks (Pro)

Clearer brand and query reports

Brand terms setup with a suggested term to add in one click.

Google updates, added daily

We now check Google's Search Status Dashboard every day. A new core or spam update appears on your chart after our team has checked it, usually within a day, marked "rolling out" until it ends. On Pro, the winners and losers list also notes when another update overlaps, and shows each row's change against the site as a whole.

Numbers you can trust

Your sites page

Each site now shows its own icon, which we fetch and serve ourselves, so opening the page sends no request to anyone else. Each Google site says which property its dashboard uses: the Domain property when you have one. You can sort and filter the list and show only sites with a big drop. Why a Domain property is better.

Very large sites on Free

On Free, a site with 50,000 or more search queries in 28 days now imports its last 3 months of history instead of 16. It keeps updating every day and nothing is blocked. Upgrade to Pro or Agency and the rest of its history imports automatically within the hour.

Earlier this month

If you missed them: query counting and new queries, the query funnel, opportunities with cannibalization page pairs and a severity score, daily index monitoring of your pinned pages with Google's URL Inspection (Pro), topic clusters, a branded vs non-branded trend card, pins, sharing any chart or table as an image, and the app in Spanish. See them all on the features page.

Coming next

Google Business Profile is built: a Local tab with profile views, calls, website clicks, direction requests and the searches that showed your profile. It switches on once Google approves our API access. Bing Places will follow.
